So what, exactly, do I do?  Well, that depends entirely on you.

I help in ways that are as unique as you are.  Sometimes, we’ll talk.  I’ll use my skills to shine a light on your unconscious ways of relating and to help release old patterns that keep you stuck.

Sometimes, I'm hands on.  I’ll use my skills to allow your body to come back in tune with itself.  We’ll explore sensation and look at how you can actively lift your own subconscious limitations on pleasure.

Occasionally, we might navigate the outside world together.  I’ll attend workshops and events when you need a practice partner or coach.

Always, I’ll hold space for whatever needs to surface in a delicate, present manner.  Neither of us needs to have any preconceived notion of where we may end up in a session.

You may know exactly why you’re here, or you may find yourself wanting some guidance as to what we might get up to together:

  • Exploring your relationship to pleasure; understanding better your own and/or your partner's anatomy and responses to sensation

  • Finding an authentic sexual expression; cultivating intimacy that is in tune with your being

  • The art of touch

  • Sexual awakening and empowerment – learning to celebrate and express your desires and needs

  • Setting healthy boundaries; exploring power and vulnerability

  • Consent – understanding what it is; understanding where it begins

  • Conscious relating – understanding the difference between mature and immature positions of relating; learning containment of difficult emotions; learning to communicate needs and desires to a partner in a way they can be received

  • The polarity of the “masculine” and “feminine” energies that reside in all of us (regardless of gender or sexual orientation); how energy flows differently in different bodies at different times

  • Regulating pleasure in the nervous system; working with unexpected ejaculation and other erectile challenges

  • Healthy outlets for “difficult” emotions (like grief, rage, shame…)

  • Learning to receive; exploring worthiness

  • Learning to listen to your body's messages and respect its rhythms

What to expect from me

I'm an educator.

What expands my heart is being able to share something from my own embodied experience that makes navigating the messiness of sex, love and intimacy a little less intimidating (and a lot more fun!).

My ethos is pretty simple:  you know yourself best.  And, often, you're just a little too close to be able to see clearly.  I provide perspective, experiential guidance through a terrain you may not be so familiar with, and a safe, non-judgmental container where you can allow whatever needs to emerge.

During sessions, you’ll have my undivided attention and presence.  You’ll also have my commitment to exploring your edges with you.  I can hold space, and I will be clear with you if we move into territory I don't feel comfortable navigating with you.  Similarly, I will expect you to communicate your boundaries to me.  And if being clear about boundaries is a growth edge for you, we can take that into session work, too.

Although I don't have a specific agenda for you, it’s true to say that there are some things I want for all of my clients: it’s my hope that you'll have a more intimate understanding of yourself than before we started working together, an expanded capacity to experience pleasure, an expanded ability to love yourself completely (even the parts you consciously or subconsciously avoid)…

Basically, I want you to feel more at home in your own skin.

And, of course, you can expect complete confidentiality.

What not to expect from me

I don't have sex with my clients.

I don’t work with anyone under the age of legal consent.

I'm not a licensed psychotherapist, and I'm not promising to cure any disease.  However, I do promise to use my presence, skills and experience to help you navigate the feelings of "dis-ease" that may have brought you here.

I don't have a pre-packaged "solution" for you.  I'll treat you like the unique, loving, responsible, adult individual that you are.  Each session has the potential to be completely new, and we never know where things will go.  I don't promise any specific outcome.  We co-create together.

My intention is one of meditation and education – helping you to cultivate awareness and to learn more about the amazing vehicle that is your body.

Sometimes the process is light and blissful, sometimes it's more challenging.

And sometimes it gets harder before it gets easier.
