Somatic Sex Education Session

I'm an educator at heart, and my passion is human sexuality and relating, so these sessions are my ______ (bread & butter?)

Body Sovereignty Session

How often have you endured touch you didn't want?  Or maybe you're not sure what you like or don't like because no one has ever asked you.  Maybe you've never even considered that you're worthy of being able to specify which types of contact you will and won't receive from others, intimate or otherwise.

Body Sovereignty is an important issue that affects both men and women.  Having body sovereignty means that you feel in control of your own body and that you're not allowing unwanted touch.  It rests on an underlying principle of overall sovereignty:  self love.  That you as an embodied being are worth protecting.

The opposite of 'body sovereignty' (body submission, or 'enduring') happens anytime you accept touch you don't want or that doesn't feel good to you simply because you want to please your partner, you don't want to be a 'difficult' massage client, or you tolerate anyone putting their uninvited hands on you simply to avoid conflict – even something as seemingly 'innocuous' as an unwanted hug or pat on the back.

Body sovereignty sessions help clients take back ownership and pleasure in their own skin.  Clients direct every single touch – no touch happens without a request being made.  From when and where, to what kind of pressure or what kind of stroke, clients learn how to discern between touch that is pleasing and touch that is not.

Based on Betty Martin's Wheel of Consent teachings and tools, we work with touch in these sessions as well as deconstructing patterns of self loathing.  The overall goals are clarity of boundaries and feeling at home in your own skin.

Clients typically find it very empowering to be able to relax into creating new pleasure pathways in the body by knowing they're in control of directing the experiment.  Some discover the true art of being bossy!

Learning Love Session

We're born knowing how to love, right?  Yes, in fact, I believe we are.

But then life happens, and this perfect knowingness becomes tarnished by disappointments, misunderstandings, and other wounds.  And so we begin crafting defenses to protect against the overwhelming pain.  Our ability to love freely becomes smaller and smaller, until one day we wonder why we can't seem to create or sustain real intimacy.

In these sessions, we explore the issues that are creating disturbances in your relationships – your relationships with others, and most important your relationship to yourself.

We look at how early wounds may be driving your current relationship style and practice discerning when your wounded child is running the show versus your mature adult consciousness.   We'll practice staying in the 'learning zone' of emotional discomfort so that your inner space and maturity grows.

The goals of these sessions are learning how to practice self-containment, how to create more consciousness in your relating patterns,  how to relax your expectations around sexual encounters, and how to communicate with relationship partners in a way that supports individual freedom while fostering deeper intimacy.

Attendance Session

Why put off tantric exploration for when you have a partner?  I love supporting my clients when they need practice partners or coaching during public classes, events, workshops and retreats.

It can be daunting to explore tantric practices for the first time.  Often you're being asked to go into a very vulnerable space, possibly within a large group of people.   Sometimes having support and encouragement during the process makes all the difference between a positive, expansive experience versus one that makes you want to run for the hills.

Maybe you simply need moral support and a friendly face to feel more comfortable in a group setting.  Or maybe you want to do partner work but you don't have a partner.  Sometimes I support clients in 'wing woman' fashion, offering 'practice dates' or helping them connect with others at an event.

Allow me to hold your hand during the times when two are definitely better than one!

Experience Design & Guidance

I design custom experiences and retreats for individuals, couples, and groups wanting to work on specific issues in a beautiful location away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, work stress, kids, responsibilities, etc.

It's amazing how deep you can go in a short space of time when daily distractions are removed and you're supported by a calming environment with a focused intention.

Some examples:

  • Tantric rituals

  • Women's circles

  • Transition rituals

  • Couples weekends

  • Group retreats
